Arise, be strong and take courage. This segment aims to provide stories of hope, advocacy, information and advice for survivors of domestic violence and abuse. Be there advocates for children and their right to be safe. Child sexual abuse is a subject that remains an area in which many may remain in silence, secrecy and shame. This segment will address the latest in political awareness, education, prevention, systematic gains and systemic failures. Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that.

Lets together speak up and lift our voices, our hearts and be there to protect our children. The good news is that child sexual abuse is preventable if we continue to educate and empower children and families.


Australia’s National Research Organisation for Women’s Safety Limited (ANROWS)  is an independent, not-for Profit research organisation established to produce evidence to support the reduction of violence against women and their children. This website will assist with information via webinars, resources and publications to understand and help reduce violence against women.
